Re-Branded The Internet Thing CMS

Iconic Style For Traditional Values

May 24th, 2006 - The Internet Thing CMS is a content management system that really works well, on many levels, and isn't a drain on resources to implement, and isn't time-consuming or confusing for client's to use. The content management system's tagline rings true. "The Internet Thing CMS - Content Management Made Easy For Everyone".

Early in its inception, The Internet Thing CMS, was developed primarily to save clients from the confusion that normally comes with what was currently available. The result was a CMS that was very easy to use, and quite fast to implement. The ease-of-use stems directly from the fact that its ongoing development process originated first from usabiity. By designers who would be using the CMS to launch sites. Most content managed sites out there are very plain, boring, templated.

The Internet Thing's ease-of-use is ideal for clients who would prefer focusing on their business, rather than learning some fancy application. Presently, with the launch of it's current offering, Internet Thing CMS version 4.0, it is geared to clients, designers and developers.

I wanted an identity for the Internet Thing that included designers and developers, hence the rocket ship. It represents the launching of each new site. The iconic style is very playful, which is what implementing with this new version is like. The fonts we used for the wordmark are easy to read and very professional, which represents "getting down to business, by reaching for the stars". The feedback we have received has been very positive. Designers now spend more time designing their sites. There isn't a need to sacrifice aesthetics for uniformity.

The re-launch of the Rariti website (www.rariti.com) is evidence of this. Website builders will take a second glance, look at the code, and ask themselves... "is this really content managed?". The answer to that is an astounding "yes".
